“I get letters that say ‘Stop being evil to Harry or we’ll go to Hogwarts and kick your butt. Some fans are so weird. One changed his name legally to Lucius Malfoy and wanted to adopt me.” Born in Epsom, he is the son of Sharon and Peter. He went to school at West Horsley’s Cranmore School until he was 13 and later The Howard of Effingham School. He was a singer in the choir since the age of 7. He also was the member of four school choirs and even offered a place in the Guildford Cathedral Choir. He has three older brothers.

Career

He first became acting in adverts in Barclaycard and Commercial Union. In 1998, he performed as James in the television series Bugs and was in his first film in 1997 as Peagreen Clock in The Borrowers. He also played in Second Sight in 1999 as well as in Anna and the King and Malaysia in the late ‘90s. He also made an appearance in an episode of Second Sight 2 in 2000.

He starred in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prison of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2001-2009). “I haven’t really had too much time to stop and think about [the end of the run] yet,” he said. “I know, when it will hit me, it will hit me very hard. Harry Potter has been my childhood. But I’m very excited to end on this high note. This is a great final chapter.”

He shared his thoughts on his character, Draco, after playing him for nearly 10 years. “[Draco] is a sweetheart,” he said. “Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, he’s horrible,’ but I feel really sorry for him. Harry has it easy. He has all these great influences saying, ‘Do this, do that, be the hero,’ and Draco doesn’t even have that option. It’s ‘Go and be evil or Voldemort is going to kill you,’ which is pretty horrific really. But as much as he is a sweetheart, Draco’s delightfully horrible most of the time and I’ve had a lot of joy in doing that.”

In 2008, he was on Adrenaline Junkie with Jack Osbourne doing various challenges including bungee jumps and freefalls. He has posted three music videos on YouTube as Feltbeats where he performs some of his songs. He has nine songs on iTunes. He released his original song Hawaii in 2010. He is a part of an independent record label, Six String Productions.

In 2010, he was in White Other, playing the main character Ray Marsden. He had a cameo role in Get Him to the Greek too. In 2011, he was in sci-fi film, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and also starred in The Apparition. From 2016-2017, he played Julian Albert/Doctor Alchemy on the third season of The Flash. In 2018, it was announced that he would play Logan Maine, a series regular, on YouTube sci-fi series, Origin.

Homes

Tom Felton's Los Angeles bungalow was sold in 2016. The 1,732 square foot had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guesthouse. It was sold for $1.449 million. It had a den lined with bookshelves, a studio-style detached guesthouse with an elevated sleeping area along with a open kitchen and remodeled bathroom. The yard had a dining terrace, an outdoor shower and a swimming pool.

Personal Life

In 2003, him and his brother Chris worked with the St. Lawrence County Angler’s Association to form the World Junior Carp Tournament, which had kids ages 11 to 18 competing in fishing.  He has since finished his studies at Cranmore School too.

He’s been in a serious relationship with actress Jade Olivia Gordon since 2008. They met on the set of Harry Potter.

He does frequent comic con conventions often to show his appreciation to fans of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy respectively.
