Sam Alexis Woods was born on June 18, 2007. She is the older of golfer Tiger Woods' two children. Her mother is Elin Nordegren. The Woods family lives in Florida on the exclusive Jupiter Island. Sam's mother also lives close by and her parents share custody of her and her brother Charlie. Tiger travels a lot for his golf career, but the family all lives very near one another, and when Tiger is away the kids spend time with their mother Elin. Tiger was famously close to his own father, and his mother is an important part of his life. It only makes sense that he would want a close relationship with his own children.
