While reality television has made stars out of a lot of people, there haven’t been any that have achieved as much fame as the Kardashian family. While some of them are more visible to the public eye than others, almost all of them are filthy rich from their time in reality television and presence on social media. Among these is Rob Kardashian, the youngest child of the late Robert Kardashian. Now in his early 30s, Kardashian has had quite a wild ride in his young life.

Kardashian was born in Los Angeles to his previously mentioned father and fellow reality star mother Kris Jenner on March 17, 1987. His father had passed away when Kardashian was just 16 years old, and his mother remarried to Bruce (now Kaitlyn) Jenner. Just like his older sisters, Kardashian was featured on television for the first time when the series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” was first aired on the E! Network in 2007.

Kardashian was featured in many of the series’ episodes over more than a decade, with nearly 100 in total. On top of his appearances on the show, Kardashian has been featured in several other programs. This includes “Dancing with the Stars’, “Khloe and Lamar” and “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” to name a few.

Throughout his life, Kardashian has been in many relationships that were covered by the media. He had dated actress Adrienne Bailon (now Houghton) in the late 2000s, and then singer Rita Ora in the early 2010s. At that point, Kardashian hadn’t yet been engaged. That would change in early 2016 when he started a relationship with model Blac Chyna.

The two moved quickly in their relationship, and got engaged after just a couple of months, and then announced their pregnancy almost immediately after. By 2017, the two had went their separate ways after having a child, with a lot of insults being thrown back and forth between the two of them. Of course, the split meant that there would be some personal items that had to be sorted out.

This includes a luxury car that Kardashian had bought for Blac Chyna. While things were still going well, Kardashian had spent just under $200,000 to buy her a purple 2016 Lamborghini Huracan. “Thank you baby,” Blac Chyna said in a social media post where the two of them were shown standing next to the car. He also spent an estimated $325,000 on the engagement ring, showing that he spared no expense during their brief fling.

Much of their relationship was featured on the reality series “Rob & Chyna”. The series didn’t air for long, though, as the relationship was short. It aired for just one season in 2016. Kardashian has made appearances on the flagship family series since then, as well as the documentary “Generation Wealth” that was released in 2018. 

Sister Kim Kardashian said that Rob has been more involved with his family in recent years as he looks to get his life back on track. Kardashian had put on a significant amount of weight in a short period of time, causing him to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. “He’s been around a lot - I’d say for the past year or two he’s been around,” Kim said. “He is doing great. He definitely is more low-key than all of us, and we love that and respect that.” Being a father to his daughter Dream that he had with Blac Chyna has certainly made Kardashian a changed man.

During this time, Kardashian has tried to gain custody of his daughter. He’s had some help from his sisters, too. A source close to the family said that “Khloe has always been very close with Dream. When Rob had custody of her as a baby, Khloe often helped out. She really loves Dream.”

One source commented by saying “Rob’s family is so proud of him. He’s consistently been putting in the work on himself and they all feel like he’s permanently turned a corner. They feel like he’s back and they are all so happy and grateful...and he’s totally committed to being the healthiest version of himself. Now that he’s doing so well they would love nothing more than to see him find true love.”

During his life, Kardashian has tried to forge his own path in business, starting one out of college after graduating from the University of Southern California. “I don’t like to use my last name,” Kardashian has said. “I don’t like it attached to things because people think you can just stamp your name on something, and it’s not organic or that you’re just doing it for money.”
