Life History and Career Background

Meadow Rain Walker was born on November 4, 1998, in Santa Barbara, CA. Walker was born to actor Paul Walker and then-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros. While Rebecca Soteros and Paul Walker had been together when Meadow had been conceived, the two would split up not too long afterward. Walker would spend her early years living with her mother in Hawaii and her father in Santa Barbara.  Meadow would be raised within a Mormon household, though she has since left the religion behind.

Like her father, Meadow Walker has spent much of her life living immersed in nature. Meadow is a devout lover of the ocean and has mirrored her father's adoration for marine biology. Paul Walker would work with The Billfish Foundation in 2006 to support measures to protect certain oceanic species. Meadow would follow her father's example by later establishing The Paul Walker Foundation which has one mission, "Do Good". Meadow's foundation works directly with conservationists to push for policies that protect the ocean and the wildlife within it.
