Born on December 12, 1975, in San Diego, California, Bialik is best known as a television star. She is now an outspoken proponent of attachment parenting. Bialik was married to the father of her two children, Michael Stone, from 2003 to 2012. She has recently concluded her role on the long-running hit program The Big Bang Theory and has not announced any large acting projects that are scheduled for her immediate future. Bialik is a dedicated parent and relishes any free time that she has as it allows her to spend more time with her two precious sons.

She appeared as the title character in the hit kids' show Blossom from 1991-1995. To modern audiences, she is likely known as Sheldon's girlfriend Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler on the long-running hit series The Big Bang Theory. Bialik also holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles. Ms. Bialik has often spoken about how she does not fit the stereotypical mold for a Hollywood actress and how sometimes she does feel socially awkward and out of place.

Net Worth and Business Ventures

Bialik's current net worth is estimated to be $25M! She and her former husband split their real estate assets evenly in their divorce settlement. Throughout their marriage, the pair owned two pieces of property, and they each got one according to the terms of their settlement. The couple owned two apartments in the Valley, which is unusual for people in the entertainment industry and who have the level of wealth that Bialik enjoys.

Mayim received ownership of the Studio City condo. This property is a one-bedroom that has 1,400 square feet. It is located in a fabulous area, with views of the mountains and vistas down onto the city below. Her ex-husband, Michael Stone, in turn, received their property located in Sherman Oaks. This home has 1,300 square feet and three bedrooms. It is highly unlikely that Bialik will upgrade her home to the stereotypical Hollywood mansion any time soon! This lack of pretension sets her apart from the crowd.

Their two homes are further proof that Bialik has not embraced the typical Hollywood lifestyle of opulence and excess. She remains a very modest and down-to-earth person and is raising her two boys to have respect for money and frugality. These are rather modest holdings for someone who was making an estimated $425,000 per episode for the final season of The Big Bang Theory!

Amy is working with a financial advisor who is helping her to let go of some of the ingrained financial habits from her childhood. She is incredibly frugal and has mentioned in several interviews that her two sons sometimes complain about their lack of material possessions. Bialik is working hard to find a middle ground that reflects her current level of wealth. She is working to let go of her financial fear and habits that are based on scarcity. 

In addition to her real estate holdings, Bialik has recently ventured into the world of restaurant ownership. A vegan herself, Mayim recently opened a vegan food restaurant called Bodhi Bowl. Current Projects

Following the end of The Big Bang Theory, it appears that Bialik is taking a little bit of a break to concentrate on her family. She is also the co-owner of the popular vegan restaurant Bodhi Bowl located in Los Angeles. Bialik has also recently become a spokesperson for the mattress brand Nectar Sleep. In the series of commercials that she appears in for the brand, Bialik calls on her background in neuroscience to expand upon the importance of a good night's sleep. Now that The Big Bang Theory is off the air and Ms. Bialik has more time on her hands, we may begin to see more of the neuroscience side of her!
