Born on April 9, 1979, in Newark, New Jersey, Keshia Knight Pulliam is best known for her role portraying Rudy Huxtable on the popular TV series, The Cosby Show. She began playing Rudy at the age of 5 and appeared on the program from 1984 to 1992. She also starred on two spin-off shows, the film Back to Next Saturday and the series A Different World. 

Early Years and The Cosby Show

Prior to The Cosby Show, Knight Pulliam began her career as a baby, starring in commercials for Johnson & Johnson. She also appeared on the popular children's program Sesame Street when she was just three years old! Following the success of The Cosby Show, she went on to star on Tyler Perry's House of Payne and in films like Beauty Shop and Madea Goes to Jail. She was the youngest child actor to be nominated for an Emmy award for her nomination at age 6 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Current Projects

Keshia is a hard-working actress and has appeared in a number of television programs, movies, and reality TV shows throughout her decades-long career. In 2019, she will appear in the holiday film, Radio Christmas. Knight Pulliam lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her daughter Ella Grace. Ella Grace's father is retired NFL player Ed Hartwell to whom Keshia was married from 2016 to 2018. The couple had a difficult time reaching a custody agreement, but the issue has been amicably resolved and the two are dedicated co-parents.
