Jasmine Johnson, born on December 16, 2015, is the daughter of Lauren Hashian and her boyfriend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Jasmine has two other siblings who also appear quite often on their dad's social media accounts. The Johnson's live in Hayward, California and from all accounts live a surprisingly quiet and simple life. 

Famous and Doting Father

The Rock started out as a pro wrestler and is now one of the world's most famous and bankable actors. He has appeared in the Fast and Furious franchise and in the title role of The Tooth Fairy. Perhaps it is this breadth of roles that has helped him to become so successful. Johnson initially wanted to be a pro football player after a successful college career at the University of Miami. After he was passed over in the NFL draft he went on to play professionally in Canada. His football career didn't last long, and after its end, he began training to become a professional wrestler in the WWF.

Dwayne Johnson's current net worth is estimated to be $280 million. He is ranked #15 on the 2019 Forbes list of celebrities. According to an article from July 2019, and in 2018 Johnson was ranked as the world's highest-paid actor. Johnson's hit HBO series Ballers was a large factor in his record-breaking earnings of $124 in 2018. This amount was the highest recorded in the 20 years that Forbes has been tracking celebrity earnings. His typical salary for a star appearance in a Hollywood film is $25 million. Johnson has also turned his huge social media following into a money-making venture. Because of his highly engaged following, Johnson adds a fee in the 7-digits to every film contract for his social media outreach efforts.

Films that The Rock appears in tend to do quite well at the box office, and his overall box office earnings for all of the films that he has appeared in total an astonishing $10.5 billion worldwide.

2019 did not see the same level of earnings as 2018, but it was still a strong year. He appeared in Ballers, the Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw, as well as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. For all of these roles, as well as the backend earnings from previous projects, Johnson brought in a respectable $89.4 million for the year. In the pipeline is the fifth season of Ballers and the new series Titan Games which he will host. 

There are some variances in the actual amount of his current net worth, with some outlets claiming a figure as low as $165 million, while most others estimate the amount to be somewhere between $260 and $280 million. He has recently announced a new Jumanji sequel, further collaborations with the sportswear brand Under Armour, and he has also bought a stake of the up-market brand Voss Water. It seems that everything that The Rock touches turns to gold so it's no surprise that more and more brands are working to establish partnerships and collaborations with this business giant.

Johnson founded the Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation in 2006 through which he works to help underserved and at-risk children as well as those that suffer from terminal illnesses. He has supported recovery efforts following Hurricane Harvey, worked in Hawaii to help the islands recover from flooding, and has even donated to GoFundMe to help finance a dog's surgery. A graduate of the University of Miami, Johnson has also donated $1 million to his alma mater and helped the school rebuild and renovate a gym facility used by the football team.  

The Rock has also expressed interest in running for public office as a way to further help people, but clarified the statement by saying, "Not yet, there are still too many other things I want to do first."

Still only four years old, it's clear that Jasmine is the apple of her parents' eyes! The Johnson family, in spite of all of their wealth and fame, seem to live rather quiet and unassuming lives, but it will be fun to watch this adorable little girl grow up.
