Life and Times Before the Fame

Dylan Frances Penn was born on April 13, 1991, in Los Angeles, CA. Dylan was born to actors Sean Penn and Robin Wright. Her father is one of Hollywood's most famous leading men while Robin Wright has enjoyed an award-winning career as an actress in films like The Princess Bridge, Forrest Gump, and Blade Runner 2049.

Dylan Penn was born into the Hollywood spotlight thanks to the fact that her parents were already established performers when they had her. Penn spent most of her time growing up in Ross, a town located in Marin County in California. Penn's parents would get divorced when she was just 19, and this would lead Dylan to move to New York City to begin developing her own career.  Penn would work several jobs while trying to make ends meet on her own, including delivering pizzas, working as a waitress, and even editing screenplays.
